Asharqiya TV, June 3, 2010- Iraqia coalition announced in a statement: “Iraqiya has only one candidate for premiership and he is Ayad Allawi.”

In this statement Iraqiya emphasized: “we have never, under any circumstances, talked about any other candidate for premiership, rather than Ayad Allawi.

Iraqia coalitionspokesman Haydar Mulla said in a press statement that any news regarding other candidates is inaccurate and emphasized the legal right of the Iraqia coalitionto form the government.
Ayad Allawi, who is now in England, will start rounds of negotiations with other fractions during next two days, to resolve the government forming turmoil before the new parliament’s first session.
