Isfahan:
On Friday, February 28th, over 300 workers of Isfahan’s Varzane region held a gathering at 11 am in the city center protesting being deprived of their water rights and damages inflicted to the farmers. Farmers, with many youths also taking part, marched to the city entrance and blocked the road protesting the regime’s inaction to responding to the farmers’ demands.
Repressive forces present at the site took no action in order to not provoke further expansion of the protests.
Farmers in their demonstration and protests set tires ablaze in the middle of roads and prevented repressive agents from entering the city.
