Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, one of Hassan Rouhani’s deputies, said the West is seeking to lower our oil exports to zero.
“We have the ability to sell and export 4 million of barrels of oil a day,” he said with his remarks wired by the Revolutionary Guards-run Fars news agency. “However, due to the sanctions we can only export 1 million barrels a day. But they even want to bring down this number to zero.”
Prior to US and Europe oil sanctions the mullahs’ regime exported over 2.2 million barrels of oil a day.
