Iranian regime blames satellite TV, Facebook for improper hijab

Recently on the request of the repressive Women’s Bassij in Iran, the Research & Investigation branch of this has issued a report.
This report indicates 2,868 of these girls and women over the age of 15 across the country have been reviewed that are classified as superior hijab, ordinary hijab and weak hijab.
According to this report one of the reasons behind improper hijab is following of daily fashion and this issue has been referred to that improper hijab decreases as the age of women increases.
The other effective reason behind improper veiling amongst women is the use of satellite TV and Facebook and political and cultural elements. This report reveals the individuals job status, compliance of their economic conditions, the employment status of their father and their house conditions, all having meaningful effect on improper veiling amongst Iranian women and girls.
This report also states that solutions include: banning the use of satellite TV networks, mandatory hijab in public and social areas and ‘ershad’ (culture and guidance) police confronting such cases.
This report finally expressed horror in saying, “What is completely obvious with these current conditions is that the number of cases of improper hijab is increasing and individuals who have ordinary hijab are considered mid-hijab and with the passage of time the current social conditions lead to trends towards bad hijab.” (Fars news agency – July 8, 2014)
