Adel al-Samouli, President of the Egypt National Opposition Political Council and a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections announced his support for Ashraf residents:
“The United Nations and other international community entities must urgently intervene in the critical conditions of Ashraf and human rights violations against Ashraf residents. These organizations must attempt to prevent the residents’ forceful relocation based on Iranian regime plots.”
Adel al-Samouli went on to call on the Iraqi government to take action to implement legal and humanitarian guarantees regarding the peaceful solution for the current Ashraf crisis.
