This seminar was entitled ” Survey on Iran’s Opposition” and was held on the invitation of ” French Committee for a Democratic Iran”. The seminar was headed by Mr. Jerar  Charas, the member of French National Parliament. Other speakers were:

Senator Jean-Pierre Mitchel, member of French senate and former judge, Jean-Pierre Berart, member of French Parliament, Jean-Pierre Béquet, the mayor of Auvers-sur-Oise and former member of the French Parliament, François Colcombet, former deputy and magistrate, Mario Stasi,  deputy Paris Bar Association, William Bourdon, French prominent jurist and lawyer, Senator Dr. Bashir Khalaf Allah, member of Tunisian Senate and member of Arab Human Rights League, and Mrs. Katrine Legena, from France Liberte Foundation.

In addition to the members of the Senate and National Parliament and Jurists, a number of NCRI’s Chairmen of committees and member were also present. Messers Mohammad Reza Rohani, the chairman of minorities’ affairs, and Dr. Saleh Rajave, chairman of Health Committee of the NCRI and NCRI’s representative in France, delivered their speeches.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, who was the Seminar’s keynote speaker, expressing her pleasure of participating in the Seminar and appreciating the Parliament Members, mentioned in her speech the history of injustice against the Iranian Resistance in France and discussed the consequences of the appeasement policy with the mullahs, the mullahs’ regime situation, the regime’s threats against peace in the region and the world, and the correct policy vis-à-vis the religious fascism.

Mrs. Rajavi added: Imposing restrictions on and terrorism labeling against the Iranian Resistance was part of the Europe’s appeasement policy towards the mullahs’ regime which Mr. Chirac was one of its pioneers. This policy granted the mullahs the opportunity to advance. Today, Iran under the mullahs’ rule is at the core of the worlds’ most serious current problems; either the nuclear weapon crisis or the spread of Islamic Fundamentalism and warmongering in the region. The appeasement policy toward Hitler’s fascism led to the World War 2. Appeasement with religious fascism faces us with the outlook of World war 3.
