
The VOA TV reported that the Canadian government presented draft resolution of condemnation of human rights violation in Iran under mullahs’ rule to the third Committee of the UN General Assembly.
The draft mentioned instances of torture, juvenile execution, public execution, stoning, arrest and torture of women activists, arbitrary arrests, violation of minorities’ rights and violation of freedom of expression.
The draft also referred to death penalty under the pretext of apostasy, which is supposed to be approved in the parliament, and also the mullahs’ regime’s laws under the cover of “Islamic punishments”.
