Al Jazeera TV reported on Thursday, August 13th Yemeni citing popular resistance forces saying its troops have gained control over the strategic triangle of Naqba in Shabwah Province that links it to the provinces of Hadramawt and Abyan. The popular resistance forces also captured the city of Habban in Shabwah Province.
Al Arabiya TV reported informed sources in Yemen saying an ambush staged by the popular resistance forces for Houthi militants in Hadida Province killed a Houthi militant commander by the name of Taha Alam Tavakol.
Popular resistance forces attacked his convoy on the Sana’a Hadida highway and also killed and injured a large number of militants, informed sources said.
Moreover, popular resistance forces in Shabwah, al-Bayda and Ibb provinces continued their attacks. Resistance have made advances in these provinces and captured a number of Houthi positions.
In Ibb Province popular resistance forces provided a 24-hour ultimatum to the Houthis to evacuate the city of Ibb, capital of this province.
