Brave Youth in Urumiah, northwestern Iran, clashed with the special and state security forces after a volleyball match in the Ghadir Stadium. Reports coming in from Iran show that the clashes continue as this report is being prepared. The regime’s special forces and anti-riot guards are trying to take the control of the situation by shooting live rounds and tear gas to disperse the crowd, but the angry demonstrators of Urumiah are ignoring the shots and continue with their protest. They are chanting “Azerbaijan is alive and death to the malevolent”.
Turkish speaking cities of northwestern Iran have been on edge since an insulting children’s program was aired by the state television depicting a Turkish child brushing his teeth with toilet brush. This angered ethnic Turkish people prompting them to express their deep dismay and anger toward the regime. A dozen cities have been the scene of protest and demonstration with violence erupting in some of them.
In Urumiah, angry youth have been engage in street fighting  with riot guards and security police.
Eyewitness reports indicate that the clashes have expanded to alleys and streets around the stadium.
