Iran downgraded to OPEC’s third exporter due to mullahs’ disastrous policies

An Iranian regime state-run media outlet revealed that due to a decrease in oil production and exports, Iran has fallen from OPEC’s second to the third leading oil exporter.
A news service affiliated to the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence wrote: “Although in OPEC’s report it has been stated that Iran, with an export of 2.583 million bpd and Nigeria with 2.464 million bpd are the second and third exporters of this organization, the actual statistics of Iran’s crude oil exports is around 2.2 million bpd which shows there was not enough accuracy in obtaining these numbers and if actual numbers were presented by Iran and Nigeria, we would have lost OPEC’s second place regarding oil exports.”
Expressing concern on further decline in the standings of oil exporting countries, this media outlet added: “Therefore, there is another warning. And that is Iraq’s effort to take the standing of the second oil exporter and increasing its oil exports. Thus, the rivalry is between Iraq and Nigeria, because if the current status quo continues, Iran will fall to the fourth place in oil exporters.”
