The progressive priest Charles Perrin from the New York City attended the sit-in in New York and in his short speech condemned the conspiracies of the Iranian regime for imposing pressure and restriction against the PMOI. He said, “The Ashraf residents and the people of Iran are deprived of freedom. I hope you gain freedom in Iran one day.”

The ruling of the European Court of Justice, annulling the terrorist designation of the PMOI, was also read to the audience.
