Maj. Gen. Kevin J. Bergner, Multi-National Force – Iraq spokesman, blamed Iran for attacks on International Zone( Green Zone) in Baghdad by rockets and mortars and said: This regime is playing a negative role in this country, reported Al- Sharqia TV.

He said the information obtained from detainees’ confessions shows they have been trained few days ago by the Quds Force agents inside Iran.

Bergner added: We cannot release the exact amount of losses and casualties so that the militias do not get informed about the outcome of the operation.
