The leader of National Dialogue Council of Iraq, Sheikh Khalaf al-Alyan, in an interview with Babeliya TV, stressed that the presence of the PMOI in Iraq is a counterweight against the meddling of Iranian regime in our country.

Mr. al-Alyan added: We have never seen anything wrong from PMOI during its 25 years of stay in Iraq. Even at the time when Iraq was insecure, this organization not only had no negative impact on the security of Iraq and Iraqis, but also acted as a counter balance; we regard the PMOI as a counter balance against the meddling of the Iranian regime.

The head of National Dialogue Council underscored the need for the solidarity of all Iraqi nationalist and popular forces with the PMOI to confront the threats coming from the Iranian regime’s meddling and said: ” we object to the Iran’s stance and its meddling in Iraq. We are not against the people of Iran, we are against the policies of the Iranian regime. ”
