The leaders of Awakening Council of Iraq held the Iranian regime responsible for the assassination of the members of this Council.

They reiterated that the al-Qaeda targets the members of the Awakening Council under direct order of the Iranian regime.

Abu Ahmad Baghdadi, the commander of Awakening Council forces in Ghazzalia neighborhood in Baghdad, in an interview with al-Sharqiya TV said that the National Guard forces have helped the militias to enter the Ghazzalia neighborhood to create unrest and insecurity and to target the Awakening Council forces.
