‘Al Arab’ daily, printed an interview with the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and wrote: In a gathering in Paris where 70 thousand people participated, Maryam Rajavi said at her full faith, “ The progressed and civilized world showed such a support that freedom movements and resistance against despotism and tyranny deserve.”

In her interview, Mrs. Rajavi said: “Recent verdict of the British parliament stresses that the voice of 80 million Iranians reaches the world; a voice that heralds the fall of the regime ruling Iran and the end of a lengthy stage of suppression. Those who ruled to the annulment of the terrorist tag on the PMOI in the UK Parliament are in fact defending the right to freedom and democracy versus the policy of appeasement and obeisance before the Iranian regime.”

Mrs. Rajavi added: “We ask the French government not to surrender to the Iranian regime’s pressures and tries to annul the terror tag during its periodical presidency in the European Union. France is the land of civilization and progress, and it is very ugly for it not to respond positively to rightness and law. Insisting on its positions against us is a betray to the laws of Republic of France… Justice and conscience rules that the EU abandons terrorist designation of the PMOI so the people of Iran can achieve freedom and the Resistance can achieve its goal in overthrowing the mullahs’ regime.”
