In Syria news Free Syrian Army forces in eastern Ghoute near Damascus shot down an Assad regime warplane and took over a number of military positions near the city of Heresta. The rebels also seized another Assad military position at the entrance of the town of Ra’s al-Amare.
According to other reports, FSA rebels destroyed a building inside the Hama military airport with artillery fire and Grad missiles. This building belonged to Assad regime forces. The rebels also shot down another Assad regime warplane and captured its pilot near the town of Khetab.
