In a preposterous reaction to the listing of a number of its criminal elements in US and EU terror lists for various counts of crackdown on the Iranian people, the mullahs’ regime announced a plan to sanction 26 US officials. This proposal has been referred to the parliament for approval.
“Based on this plan, 26 US officials with records of human rights abuses around the world, including Iraq and Afghanistan, supporting terrorism, and assisting and taking part in drug trafficking will be sanctioned by the Islamic Republic and punishments will be considered,” said Parliament Security and Foreign Affairs Commission spokesman Kazem Jalali.
