35 civilians were killed and dozens of others injured on Friday after Houthi militants and elements loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah indiscriminately launched missiles on residential areas and stores in Ma’rib, central Yemen.
On the other hand, reports indicate Arab coalition warplanes delivered severe strikes against Houthi positions around Sana’a. The most important of these air raids came on the Attan heights, southwest of Sana’a.
Military forces coming from Port Hadida to Ma’rib Province seeking to provide reinforcement for the Houthis were also bombed by Arab coalition warplanes.
