An Iranian MP admitted to the Iranian economy’s structural crisis and added even if sanctions are lifted the country’s auto industry problems will not be resolved because the problem is in incorrect policies.
“The problem of the auto industry is resulting from incorrect policies and structural issues… we must not expect all the auto industry’s problems be fixed with the lifting of the sanctions,” Iran’s official IRNA news agency cited Dehghan.
This MP shed more light on the regime’s policies and said the fundamental problem of the auto industry lies in incorrect management and the existing monopoly in auto production, IRNA added.
“Auto production units seem private, but they are actually directed under state management,” Dehghan continued.
He also described “low quality vehicles manufactured in Iran” and “the people’s decreasing purchasing power” as negative parameters influencing Iran’s auto production.
