
Shahr Kord
The irregular power outages in various parts of Shahr Kord, has disrupted the lives of its inhabitants in the winter season and the inaction of the Iranian regime’s officials in this regard has caused public outrage. In Shahr Kord, a group of people from the Saman area and surrounding villages gathered outside the Electricity Department on Saturday, 11 January and protested to the power outages and not having heating in the cold winter season.
Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiyari
The Iranian regime is attempting to cover a part of its budget deficit by raising taxes on the middle class and low income sector of the society. This issue has been faced with the severe popular protest. In the Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiyari Province, more than 300 inhabitants of the Shalamzar town, despite the heavy snow and severe cold, gathered outside the town’s Communications Department and protested to the high rate of telephone bills.
Tehran
A Group of people and shopkeepers from Tehran’s Saloughan area on Thursday, 9 January gathered at the conjunction of the Saloughan road and protested and clashed with the regime’s municipality officials over their inhumane treatment and harassment of working children.
