According to ‘The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights’ reporting from Homs Province on Aug. 24, 2016, aid convoy has arrived at the al-Wa’er neighborhood which is besieged by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the city of Homs. The convoy comprised of 16 trucks carrying food materials, including lentil, crushed wheat, flour and rice, in addition to clothing, medicine and other logistic and humanitarian material.
At the same time factions have targeted the regime forces in Ayn al-Dananir area in the northern countryside of Homs using mortar shells. There has been casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, but the exact toll is unknown.
 

Injuries in shelling at the countryside Jisr al-Shughur and factions target Sahl al-Ghab

In Idlib Province, the Observatory reports that a rebel fighter from the countryside Jisr al-Shughur was killed in the shelling and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them around the countryside of Aleppo. The regime forces have targeted areas in the western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur west of Idlib province reports indicate of casualties and injuries.
