Taxi drivers call strike in Kurdistan Province (western Iran)

Harana, 15 August 2010 – Taxi drivers of Dehgolan township in Iran’s Kurdistan Province called strike on Saturday and parked their vehicles in the road leading to the Bolban Abad Terminal, demanding their fuel shortages be resolved. Due to disorders in the fuel distribution network, these taxi drivers are forced to travel long distances to the city of Gharve to receive gasoline for their vehicles.
