
Houthi leader rejects humanitarian ceasefire proposed for Yemen, while the Saudi-led Arab coalition said airstrikes stopped on Sunday, 8:59 GMT, Al Jazeera TV reported.
The Houthi leader went to Twitter saying the war is not over and claimed reinforcements are on the way for his troops.
Saudi-led airstrikes continued on Sunday before the ceasefire. A recruiting center in Atak, southern Yemen was bombed and destroyed.
In the meantime, President Abed Raboo Mansour Hadi is meeting with the UN envoy in Yemen to discuss humanitarian aid during the ceasefire.

The Houthis are still in the country’s northern areas, including Sana’a. Saudi-led Arab coalition military planes are entering Aden. Four months into the war now the Aden airport is under the control of pro-government troops.
Ali Hassan al-Ahmadi of the Yemen National Security Bureau said the objective in this ceasefire is to provide humanitarian aid.
The Yemen army and pro-Hadi tribes in the country’s western areas say they have stopped the Houthis’ advances and are currently reinforcing their positions. In the meantime, over 20 million people in Yemen are in need of emergency aid.
