NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen called for Russian forces to withdraw back from the Ukraine border. Rasmussen, travelling to Kiev, warned Moscow continuing its meddling in Ukraine will lead to further isolation for this country from the world.
Rasmussen referred to the presence of 20,000 Russian military forces on the Ukraine border and said Moscow supporting Ukrainian separatists has become more widespread and more complex.
Coinciding with the NATO chief’s trip to Kiev, separatists in eastern Ukraine shot down a MiG-29 military jet and helicopter of this army.
