Based on reports from the city of Ahwaz (southwestern Iran), Khuzestan Pipe Factory workers who staged a protest gathering outside the Iranian regime’s governorate office on Palestine Road, demanding 24 months of unpaid salaries, were confronted by repressive SSF units who insulted and attempted to disrupt their gathering.
Under extreme pressure and difficulties in trying to make ends meet, the workers did not listen to the demands of the SSF agents on bringing an end to their protest gathering. In the end, this led to clashes between the protesting workers and the Iranian regime’s SSF agents.
