Hundreds of millions in fines awaiting two German banks for violating Iran sanctions

The New York Times and Reuters reported citing informed sources that US officials are in talks with two German banks to discuss the issue of violating US sanctions against the regimes of Iran, Sudan and North Korea.
These banks may face hundreds of millions of dollars in fines. Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank have violated US sanctions regulations against these regimes and therefore must face the heavy consequences. Some sources are talking of a $500 million fine against these banks.
