In a big gathering held in Paris headed by Marie Therese Altermat, member of Paris City Hall and the head of Association of Marianne Republic and with participation of representatives of hundreds of societies residing in France as well as Dr. Saleh Rajavi, representative of the NCRI in France, the International Committee to support Iranian Resistance announced its formation with the objective of defense of Ashraf residents and removal of the PMOI from the EU terrorist list.

In this gathering, representatives of the participant associations delivered speech and while supporting the Iranian Resistance and its President-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, emphasized that: The struggle and efforts of Mrs. Rajavi against the religious fascism ruling Iran is our struggle and that of our nations, because the religious fascism threatens the democratic rights and freedoms in all countries.

Dr. Saleh Rejavi, representative of the NCRI in France, also delivered speech about the situation of the Iranian Resistance and history of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI). He also described the current efforts for annulment of illegal terrorist label on the PMOI, and resistance of Ashraf residents against the Iranian regime’s conspiracies. He also answered the participants’ questions.
