In recent remarks, the mullahs’ State Security Force deputy chief Ahmad Reza Radan spoke of a new wave of crackdown and arrests to create a climate of fear to confront social uprisings.
“During the past few days we informed the people they should be prepared for a new round of measures confronting thugs, hoodlums, armed thieves and others,” Radan threatened.
