In an interview with Asharqiya TV, Ayad Jamaladdin, the prominent Shiite clergy and member of foreign affairs committee of Iraqi parliament asked Iran to stop meddling in the Middle East in order to keep the region away from the military options.

He added: “The Iranian regime should leave out its fanatic slogans and not be more Catholic than Pope for Palestinians. The Iranian regime would better take care of its domestic problems, dire economy and nuclear critical file”.
