Around 12:30 local Tehran time, dozens of government plain clothes agents from the ministry of intelligence and security raided the teachers’ peaceful congregation in front of Majlis (the Parliament). The plain clothes agents of the fundamentalist regime of Iran who had the backing of the Suppressive State Security forces, SSF, entered the crowed pushing them around and battering them. But in spite of the harassment and beatings and threat of arrest and imprisonment, teachers stood their ground insisting on their legitimate and constitutional rights.
