The Top US military and MNFI Commander, General David H. Petraeus said that despite significant reduction of violence in Iraq, the Iraqi leaders failed to overcome their political differences.
Speaking in an interview with the Al-Hurra T.V. on March 13, he added that no one in both governments of the United States and Iraq has the impression that the progress being made in the national reconciliation or providing basic public services has been adequate.
General Petraeus also expressed concern over Iranian regime’s support of the militias in Iraq.
