Al-Jazeera T.V. Aug. 31 — former Iraqi premier Ayad Allawi met with Kurdish officials in Sulaimaniya-Iraq, and discussed current political situation in Iraq.

Allawi attended in a press conference in his arrival at Kurdish city of Dukan and told media: “Iraq in general is suffering from political problem. And my visit to Kurdistan which is going to take few days long is intended to strengthen relation between “National Iraqi fraction” and “Kurdish” fraction.

Al-Jazeera reported a meeting attended by Allawi and Kurdish officials will be held in which a delegation from U.S. Embassy will attend to.
