Popular resistance forces, joined by Arab coalition troops, were able to make new advances in Ma’rib Province after heavy clashes against Houthi militants and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah, Al Arabiya TV reported on Friday. These forces were able to take control over strategic heights in this province.
Dozens of Houthis were killed and injured in these clashes, along with many others taken captive, sources inside the popular resistance forces reported.
