The Syrian National Coalition issued a statement saying the sole solution to resolve the current refugee crisis lies in sacking Bashar Assad from power.
This statement, broadcasted by Al Arabiya TV on Tuesday, September 8th, reads in part: Instead of increasing the number of refugees accepted as they flee the Assad regime, the Europeans should have forced Assad himself out of Syria because evacuating the Syrian people out of their country is in the interest of Assad, Iran and its militias that are seeking change in the social fabric of the region.
