Turkey warned Syria’s dictator it will resort to military action if crisis in this country is not brought to an end.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced if the turmoil in Syria threatens Turkey’s security, this country will take any necessary action needed including military measures, the Turkish Today’s Time daily reported.
“The Syrian people will do what has to be done,” Davutoglu said in response to a question on what can be done regarding the crackdown on the Syrian people. “However, as a neighbor of Syria, there are many steps that we can take. When the situation arises to threaten our security, of course military action is also an option.”
Turkish media described Davutoglu’s remarks as a positive response to Turkey’s intention of waging war against the Syrian regime.
