Session in New South Wales Parliament, Australia, urged for PMOI removal from terrorist list

In a session held at New South Wales Parliament in Sydney under presidency of Mrs. Meridice Bergman, former chairwoman of that parliament, on Thursday, June 12, Mrs. Penny Sharp, MP from ruling Labor Party and other speakers defended the rights of PMOI residents’ in Ashraf City and emphasized on immediate removal of the PMOI from the terrorist list.

In this session which was held with participation of Australian personalities and supporters of the Iranian Resistance, a film maker and a researcher who had visited Ashraf City expressed their observations and particularly the women PMOI members’ role in liberating the Iranian women and their affection on Iraqi women’s movement.

In her speech, Mrs. Penny Sharp, MP from ruling Labor Party, said: The political reason for designation the PMOI in the proscribed list was clear for us, and now that the courts’ verdicts have been released, we shall take measures to remove the PMOI from the terrorist list with more efforts.
