Iran: protest gathering, boycotting exams by nursing students

IRAN, 13 July 2017—  Nursing students of Beheshti Univ. formerly known as Tehran National University staged a rally on Monday, July 10 protesting a recent statement by the ministry of health regarding the nursing job training in hospitals.

The students expressed their anger and protest to the health ministry’s statement by refraining from going to the classes and boycotting exams. They also called on the University authorities to answer their calls.

The mullahs’ regime has adopted a wicked and a shameful plan in hospitals to reduce the salaries and cut the costs by substituting educated and professional nurses who have gone through a four-year nursing term, with under-educated and unprofessional nurses that have gone through only a one-year term. By this, the evil and anti-human regime of mullahs pay lot less than it should to these under-educated nurses and put the lives of patients in danger.
