The inhumane mullahs ruling Iran have transferred 7 Sunni prisoners from Mahabad Prison (northwest Iran) to ward 7 of Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran. This ward is allocated to holding psychologically ill and mentally retarded inmates.
One of the transferred inmates is Shuresh Ayene Bukani who was arrested on Eid al-Adha (when Muslims celebrate the Hajj) of last year. After enduring one year behind bars and torture in Mahabad Intelligence Department detention center, he too has been transferred to Gohardasht Prison of Karaj along with six other inmates.
These prisoners have time and again requested to be transferred to the ward where other Sunni prisoners are held in Gohardasht Prison. However, authorities have refused their request to this day and continue to use this as a means of harassment and psychological torture.
