
On Saturday evening September 20th clashes broke out in the Iranian capital city of Tehran between several young celebration attenders and Basijis, in a Tehran Pars district hall. After storming a wedding ceremony and harassing people for wearing ties, the state backed militias were badly beaten and thrown out the hall.
Also in Ton e-Kabon, north of the country, youths fought with two plainclothes agents who were harassing young women in a sky-lift line.
In Ghazvin, western Iran, several students protested against the arrest of a female student by security forces. The angry crowd attacked the suppressors after witnessing their fellow student being handcuffed.
