According to a report, on Tuesday, 18 February, a young girl in the northern city of Babolsar intended to commit suicide by throwing herself off a bridge, yet rescue groups managed to persuade her to change her mind. One of the eyewitnesses said that the reason behind the suicide attempt was the problems this suppressive regime is creating for all the families.
