According to reports from inside Iran, city workers assigned to district 22 in Tehran gathered in front of the ’Olympic Village’ city hall on Thursday Jan, 15 to protest unpaid wages for past 3 months.
With the decreasing prices of oil and the government corruption on rise in Iran, the government does not have money to pay its employees’ salary making such protests a daily occurrence in Iran.
