Khamenei’s nightmare: Iraq popular uprising

With the increasing wave of the Iraqi people’s uprising across the country, the mullahs’ regime sees many of its dreams for Iraq literally vanishing in thin air. Khamenei and his regime are now complaining that Maliki has not been wise enough in dealing with the uprising Iraqi protesters and demonstrators.
Kayhan, Khamenei’s mouthpiece, cited Nouri Maliki and ridiculously claimed it was Iraq National Movement Secretary General Dr. Saleh Mutlak who provided financial assistance to the PMOI, adding that the PMOI themselves (!) have provided Maliki documents proving this.
This is while the mullahs’ regime for years claimed it was the PMOI who provided financial assistance to Iraq’s nationalistic figures and parties. However, Khamenei also claimed US officials have provided Maliki documents proving Finance Minister Rafe Al Issawi was involved in terrorist activities.
Kayhan added Maliki was foolishly deceived, igniting the flames of the recent uprising by attacking the office of Al Issawi and his inner circle and arresting numerous members of his security team.
It appears that recent developments in Iraq have made the future look very bleak for the mullahs’ regime to a point that even Khamenei’s mouthpiece is criticizing his own puppet – Maliki – in Iraq.
