One Iranian regime state-run media outlet bluntly described the airing of “death to Rafsanjani” slogans on the regimes’ state TV as a deliberate act, warning other senior officials will face similar fates.
An outlet affiliated to the mullahs’ Ministry of Intelligence wrote: “Hearing an individual insult Rafsanjani on Islamic republic TV, and state-run TV broadcasting these insults without any hesitation or denouncing this act, is truly worth taking into notice. This method of behavior today will have undesirable prospects.”
