The Hill – The majority of people in the United States back a deal over Iran’s nuclear program but doubt it would work, according to a poll released Tuesday.
Fifty-nine percent of people said they are either not so confident or not confident at all that a deal would stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Only 4 percent said they were “very confident,” according to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll.
The poll was conducted between March 26 and 29. It had a sample of 1,003 adults and a 3.5 percentage point margin of error.
