Iran, Dezful: Classes were cancelled out of fear of Student Day Unrest

Classes in universities throughout Dezful were cancelled today out of fear of student riots and protests.
Reports from Dezful, a city in the southern province of Khuzestan indicates that there is intense security presence in Azad (Free) University to prevent annual gatherings of students on the occasion of Students’ Day. The university’s main auditorium has been locked and the majority of classes have been canceled under different pretexts.
The Iranian regime is going to the extreme to shut up any voices of decent amongst students. But the students and youth proved otherwise and showed that they are a force to reckon with and will use every opportunity to voice their protest and dismay at the suppressive policies of this regime. They shouted “independence, freedom and Iranian Republic” in contrast to the Islamic Republic the regime is calling itself.
