Al Jazeera TV, 12 Oct 2013 – The hunger strike in Camp Liberty, affiliated to members of opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, entered its 42nd day on Saturday. This hunger strike is staged protesting the Iraqi government’s refusal to clarify the fate of the seven missing PMOI members. They have been missing since the attack on Camp Ashraf in Diyala Province on September 1st. A statement issued by this organization indicates that the physical conditions of a large number of the hunger strikers are deteriorating in a way that 23 of them have been transferred to a medical clinic associated to this camp.
