Iran must end meddling in Arab countries, pull out forces from Syria: Saudi prince

Saudi Prince Turki Faisal, former head of Saudi intelligence, said Iran must end its meddling in Arab countries and pull forces out of Syria.
“After UN Security Council sanctions Iran was forced to come to negotiating table. Now, we must focus on their aggressive role in the region. This regime is meddling in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. It is clear that this regime has no right to undergo such intervention,” he said.
Iran’s president Rouhani has said he is seeking to upgrade his relations with Saudi Arabia, but we must see practical measures on the ground, he continued, adding if Rouhani is telling the truth he can easily pull out his forces out of Syria.
“We have been tolerating this regime from 1995 when we restarted relations with Iran, but we have seen change or no action taken by this regime to decrease tension. This is not just related to Saudi Arabia. They are meddling everywhere, including Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Bahrain and Yemen. If Iran is serious on improving relations it must end its meddling in these countries and stop such measures,” he added.
