Students of Lorestan University in Iran issued a statement expressing support for the call made to commemorate the 14 February 2011 uprising of Art University students in Tehran and Arak.
The statement reads in part: “We the students of this university support the call made by Art University students in Tehran and Arak marking the 14 February 2011 uprising and the memory of slain students Sane Zhale and Mohammad Mokhtari. We will continue our struggle for freedom and Iran’s independence as they did not accept the disgrace of surrendering.”
