Robat Karim – Commemorating ceremonies held on 1st anniversary of Seyed Sardar Beheshti, father of Sattar Beheshti, passing away

A ceremony was held on the 1st anniversary of the passing of Seyed Sardar Beheshti, the father of murdered blogger Sattar Beheshti, at their house in southern Tehran on 11 am on Thursday, February 18th. The participants then went to his resting place to pay their respects.

Tehran – storeowners on strike in Labani Nezhad Street
A large number of storeowners staged a rally in Tehran’s Labani Nezhad Street protesting high taxes. They also went on strike and closed their doors on February 16th.

State agent attacked in Navab Avenue
On February 16th a man boarded a bus in the Navab Avenue station and mistakenly sat in the women’s section. A regime agent began insulting and cursing at the man for this very reason. In response the passenger who had mistakenly sat in the women’s section attacked the agent.

Tehran – state agent attacked by couple
In Tehran’s Hafez intersection a state agent insulted a woman under the pretext of improper veiling, and she and her husband attacked him in response. Eyewitnesses at the scene actually supported this couple’s actions.
