Iraqi dissidents have posted video footages on the Internet showing a convoy of more than 50 vehicles, each carrying a coffin, saying these are the casualties of Maliki’s forces in Anbar Province, Al Jazeera TV reported.
This convoy passed through the Bar Association Avenue in the al-Mansour region in western Baghdad. Tribes and families of a number of soldiers have staged demonstrations and sit-ins during the past few days calling on Maliki to hand over the bodies of their dead loved ones.
